Our History

St. George Greek Orthodox Church was built in 1914 near downtown Oklahoma City on Northwest 8th and Western. In the mid-80s St. George moved to its current location of Northwest 145th and North Pennsylvania.

The Oklahoma City Greek Festival began as a bake sale at the first location. Both events began as fundraisers to help build our beautiful church.

Now, the Greek Festival is an outreach program to celebrate and introduce Oklahomans to Greek culture.
